NEW FLAVORS FOR WRAPOLE! |
|
Black Bean and Multi-Grain are the latest creations made by Michael Libfeld, President of "The Original" WrapOle' Premium Quality Tortillas.
The feedback from the Chefs using our products has been fantastic, said Mr. Libfeld. The Black Bean flavor adds a new Latin twist to a restaurant's menu and is very distinctive. The Multi-Grain is delicious and doesn't have that sawdust texture like many of the competitive brands.

THE ORIGINAL WRAPOLE’® PREMIUM QUALITY TORTILLAS FIGHTS TO PROTECT THEIR TRADEMARK! |
|
Ellen Libfeld, Vice President of the Original WrapOle’® Premium Quality Tortillas, based in Lake Worth, Fl, announced that negotiations have started with La Banderita brand of Ole’ Mexican Foods regarding trademark and copyright infringement against their registered mark, WrapOle’®.
WrapOle’®, a registered mark since 1999, contends that La Banderita is unfairly using Ole’ and Wraps on their packaging and is causing consumer confusion. . Intellectual Property Lawyer Lee Levenson, represents WrapOle’®. Mr. Levenson, who holds a master of laws degree in intellectual property, states that there is a very real risk of consumer confusion due to La Banderita's use of packaging that is confusingly similar to Wrap Ole's.
WrapOle’® developed a niche in the tortilla/wrap market, creating demand for an excellent quality wrap meeting the dietary and religious needs of the Orthodox kosher community. In 2004, WrapOle’® won the best new baked goods award for their Challah Aloha wrap at the premier kosher trade show, Kosherfest, in New York City.
WrapOle’, known for it’s high quality and great taste, is sought after by the finest chefs, restaurants and caterers around the U.S. and Canada.
Ms. Libfeld states consumers will see a package with Ole’ and Wraps on it while shopping and think they are purchasing her product, WrapOle’®. Also, unsuspecting food service buyers may be substituted the La Banderita brand instead of the WrapOle’® brand when ordering through suppliers.
